As a young Liverpool football fan, I never get to witnessed the domination of the team in those days. The most glorious time as a Liverpool fan was when we achieved the greatest comeback of all time at Istanbul.

It was on 25 May 2005, memories still vivid 7 years after the great Istanbul comeback. AC Milan started the game brightly and with no response during the first half, we found ourselves 3 nil down. We were down but not out. The fans rallied the team on by singing the famous Liverpool club anthem; "You'll Never Walk Alone", the club's pride was at stake.

Rafa made certain tactical changes and with a bit of luck, we managed to score 3 goals within 6 minutes in the second half. It was a magical moment, never ever had I experienced anything similar to it. We held on and eventually won our 5th European Cups after Shevchenko misses  his penalty which he needed to score to keep AC Milan in the game.

We did it in a miraculous manner, that's what make us so special - The greatest football club in the world. We spared humiliation and went on to lift the European Cup in what was known as the greatest game of all time. So now let's recapped our Journey to the European Cup 2004-2005. Enjoy yourself.
